Mercoledì, 29 gennaio 2020, nella Sala Auditorium del Centro Polifunzionale della Scuola Specialisti dell’Aeronautica Militare, una rappresentanza di studenti dell’Istituto Tecnico Trasporti e Logistica “Villaggio dei Ragazzi”, accompagnata dalle docenti Marianna Castaldo e Clara Sparano, hanno partecipato al Convegno dal titolo “L’esplorazione spaziale, la partecipazione italiana e la testimonianza di un astronauta“.
Per l’occasione, la ricercatrice Valentina Sasso dell’Osservatorio di Capodimonte (Napoli) ha illustrato la missione “Solar Orbiter”, ovvero la missione che consentirà, per la prima volta, di studiare il Sole e di osservarne le regioni polari da un’orbita al di fuori del piano dell’eclittica.
Salvatore Borrelli del Centro Italiano di Ricerche Aerospaziali di Capua (CIRA ), invece, ha trattato l’argomento: “l’accesso allo spazio e il volo ipersonico sostenuto“, ovvero l’ insieme di tecnologie strategiche per la politica spaziale ( lanciatori, veicoli di rientro, satelliti e servizi e segmento di terra).
Il convegno, organizzato della Sezione casertana dell’ UNUCI (Unione Nazionale Ufficiali in Congedo d’Italia), presieduta dal Gen. B. (c.a.) Dr. Ippolito Gassirà, si è concluso con la consegna a tutte le scuole partecipanti di una targa commemorativa.
